Neural Zoomer Plus Lab
Neural Zoomer Plus Lab
Discover patterns and root causes of neurological inflammation and dysfunction.
The Neural Zoomer Plus measures immune reactivity to structures, tissues, cells, and chemicals in the brain and peripheral nervous system. This test can detect underlying inflammatory responses that may be causing symptoms related to mood, memory, aging, balance, nervous function, movement, pain, and more. If you were diagnosed with or suspect neurological inflammation or autoimmune disease, you may benefit from this panel.
With a panel of 16 of the most well-studied neurological autoantibodies, the Neural ZoomerTM is able to guide providers in treatment protocols by pinpointing the mechanisms behind disease progression and providing a roadmap to solutions and improved health outcomes in this challenging arena of disease.
How To Prepare For This Lab:
Fasting is not required for the Neural Zoomer test, and there are no diet or dietary supplement restictions required before testing. If you are taking steroids, immunosuppressive medications, biologic agents, or other immunmodulating medications, you may not get an accurate result of your antibody levels.
If you are taking any of these medications you may get falsely lower or falsely higher antibody results. For this reason, to ensure the most accurate results, your ordering provider may recommend testing 14-30 days after discontinuing these medications, or they may recommend testing Total Immunoglobulins (Total IgE, Total IgM, Total IgA, and Total IgG) before testing specific antibody levels to neural antigens and viral and bacterial antigens tested in the Neural Zoomer.
Consult with your ordering provider regarding whether to continue or discontinue any dietary supplements or medications before your test, or whether to test Total Immunoglobulins before the Neural Zoomer test.
Lists of immunosuppressive medications and biologic agents can be found HERE and HERE.
